United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly in 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. Today their humanitarian mandate is to provide long-term care to children and women in developing countries around the world. UNICEF has a presence in 190 countries and territories.

UNITE AGAINST AIDS CAMPAIGN
DECOSTA, working closely with the UNICEF Canada marketing team, delivered critical stage creative direction and marketing materials for the University Fundraising Programme and the Unite Against AIDS Concert. Despite limited time and resources, our work contributed to a successful national event that raised over 1.2 million dollars.

To increase awareness for UNICEF’s AIDS prevention programs and the Unite Against AIDS Concert, DECOSTA created posters, promotional items, merchandise, and a limited edition temporary tattoo, creating lasting impressions with the public after the concerts ended.
